29.08.2011 - Almost a clean sweep at Glendale Show with our 3 boys.....ended up a super days showing! First up was Cheval Mister Bojangles who was 1st & Champion Show Hunter Breeding then Topcat taking 1st & Reserve Champion Ridden Riding Pony and 1st & Champion Ridden PBA. Ended with Tollhouse Mercury getting 1st Open Ridden M&M Small Breeds, 2nd Mixed M&M Novice and then 1st & Champion Welsh In Hand. All very pleasing results!

18.08.2011 to 20.08.2011 - Our first trip to Equifest and it was FAB! With us we took Tollhouse Mercury for a bit more experience in the ring as he is still a bit green and we were really pleased with his results, out of classes up to 25 ponies he was always placed in the top 6. It was a super show and would recommend everyone to join in.

03.08.2011 to 05.08.2011 - We attended the NPS Summer Champs with Cheval Mister Bojangles & Cheval Over the Limit and received some quite reasonable results. Starting with Cheval Over the Limit getting 3rd in the 2-3 Year Old Part Bred, 3rd in the Home Produced 2-3 Year Old Riding Pony not to exc 138cm & a 3rd in the 3 Year Old Riding Pony not to Exc 138cm. Then Cheval Mister Bojangles took 2nd in the 1,2 & 3 Year Old Potential Sports Pony as well as Reserve Champion of the section, a 5th in the Roseberry Stud Show Hunter Breeding Final and ended with a 1st in the Bankswood Stud Show Hunter Silver Medal Final.

29.07.2011 & 30.07.2011 - A trip to Kelso for a couple of days for Border Union Show, taking 4 Horses & Ponies....our busiest days yet! All returned with the following results:

Cheval Over the Limit - 1st Home Produced Riding Pony & 3rd 3yr old RP not to exceed 138cm

Cheval Touch of Class - 3rd 3yr old Show Hunter not to exceed 133cm

Cheval Mister Bojangles - 3rd 3yr old Show Hunter not to exceed 153cm

Highland McDuff - 1st Small Hunter Broodmare

23.07.2011 - Excellent result today with Tollhouse Mercury under saddle, coming 1st in the Mixed Height Novice M&M Ridden with Claire Cryer riding at Burgham Horse Trials (BSPS Showing).

16.07.2011 - Another win for Rotherwood Riviera Gold at Kent County today with him taking 1st in the Welsh B Yearling Class. Super pony which we are very pleased with.

13.07.2011-14.07.2011 - A great trip to the Great Yorkshire Show with our horses & ponies. Managed to get a 2nd with Highland McDuff in the Small Hunter Broodmare Class and her foal, Cheval After Dark taking 3rd. Then very pleased with Rotherwood Riviera Gold for taking 1st in the Welsh B Yearling colt class. Super show!

10.07.2011 - Well done to our Yearling Colt, Rotherwood Riviera Gold for taking 1st in the Welsh B Class at Lancashire Welsh Medal Show. A huge thank you to Mark & Tina for taking him as well.

24.06.2011 - We all enjoyed our visit to The Royal Highland Show, came away with a 3rd from Topcat in the Ridden PBA under 148cm and a 1st & Reserve Champion from Cheval Mister Bojangles in the Show Hunter Breeding. Another good day!

21.06.2011 - A decent day at Cheshire County Show today with Cheval Mister Bojangles & Cheval Touch Of Class! Starting with Cheval Mister Bojangles taking 1st in the 3 year old Show Hunter Breeding class and then Cheval Touch of Class coming 5th in a very strong class of 13 three year old Part Bred Welsh's.....Well Done All.

19.06.2011 - The team was at North Yorkshire County Show today and had a great day! It was first show of the Season for Highland McDuff and her filly foal Cheval After Dark and they were both stars. Starting with Highland McDuff taking 1st in the Small Hunter Broodmare and then Reserve Champion of the section and also 1st in the Sports Horse Broodmare Class. Also a good day for Cheval After Dark, she was so good for her first outing taking 2nd in the Small Hunter and 2nd in the Sports Horse.

11.06.2011 & 12.06.2011 - A trip to Derbyshire Festival for the weekend with great results again. On the Saturday with Cheval Mister Bojangles who came back with a 1st in the 3 year old Show Hunter Breeding and then Reserve Champion as well as 2nd in his first 2/3 yo Hack Class and Cheval Touch of Class taking 3rd in his 3 year Old PBW Class with Tori leading him well. Concluding on the Sunday with Topcat taking 1st & Reserve Champion in the Ridden Part Bred Arab. Go Team!

05.06.2011 - A good day at Midland Counties Show for a first outing with our youngstock and Stallion, Cheval Mister Bojangles took 1st in the 2/3 year old Show Hunter Breeding and then section Champion qualifying him for the Derby House Supreme Championship and the Cuddy Qualifier. A huge congratulations to him for taking the Reserve Champion in the Derby House Supreme Championship. Also a big well done to Cheval Touch of Class for coming away with a 2nd in the 2/3 Year Old 138cm RP and to Royalview Casanova for his 2nd in the Stallion class.

15.05.2011 - Well done to all the team at Newark & Notts, it was a good day for all! Starting with Topcat taking 3rd in his PBA In hand and then 1st & Champion in the PBA Ridden, a very well done to him! Rotherwood Riviera Gold had his first outing this year and was exceptionally well behaved, taking 2nd in the Welsh B Yearling Colt Class, very pleased with him and also a huge thank you to Mark & Tina Carswell for running him and taking him to produce for the season.

27.03.2011 - Well done to Topcat on his first outing of the season, he was 1st and Champion in the Ridden Part Bred, 1st and Champion In Hand Part Bred and then took Supreme Champion of Show at In the Spotlight Show. An Excellent start to the season!

23.03.2011 - Cheval Stud welcomes Glenives Jubillation to the family, 13.2hh PBA/PBW Broodmare that will be put in foal to Topcat this summer. We are looking forward to showing her and her foal in 2012.

15.02.2011 - Cheval Stud said a very sad goodbye to our lovely Broodmare, Louven Howe who died after a severe case of Colic. This is very upsetting news and she will be dearly missed on the yard. We hope to get her youngstock out showing in 2011 to do her proud, she was a much loved mare.

30.05.10 - Well done to Cheval J T Kirk on his first outing at Hambleton Show. It was as if he had been doing it years as he was exceptionally well behaved and took 1st and Reserve Champion Foal in the Hunter Section as well as 1st and Overall Reserve Champion in the Sports Horse.

22.06.10 - Well done to Cheval Mister Bojangles for coming 2nd in the 2 year old Show Hunter class at Cheshire County Show.

25.06.10 - A Successful day for Farthanwood Ting-a-Ling at the Royal Highland Show, she was the Welsh Sec B Broodmare Winner. Her foal, Cheval April Showers was placed 3rd which was her first show. Well done to them both!

11.07.10 - A huge congratulations to TopCat for his first show under saddle on Sunday, coming 1st & Champion in Ridden Part Bred Arab and also 1st & Champion in the In hand Part Bred Arab. As well as that, him taking Supreme Champion of Show, couldn't have wished for a better result....WELL DONE!

13.07.10 - Another fabulous day for TopCat, taking 1st & Reserve Champion in the Open Riding Pony at NPS Area 25. Also getting 1st in the Novice Riding Pony....well done again!

13.09.10 - Cheval Stud welcomes our newest arrival Rotherwood Riviera Gold. Stunning Dappled Cream Colt by Stoak Tuscany, out of Rotherwood Golden Rose. Shown as a foal this year at Cheshire County Show where he was 1st & Champion Welsh Foal and also at Great Yorkshire Show where he was 1st Welsh Sec B Foal.
